This guide provides instructions to UCDSB teachers on how to embed content from the Virtual Learning Commons (VLC) into the Desire2Learn (D2L) platform to enhance their existing instructional resources and provide homework support and research information to their students.
The VLC facilitates independent and engaged student learning by providing students with equal access to high-quality, relevant and reliable information and online homework help.
The VLC also provides teachers with access to resources and tools to support 21st century learning outcomes in alignment with the ON curriculum and current national and international teaching standards.
