The Grade 6 Social Studies course focuses on the diversity of experiences and perspectives that have contributed to the development of Canadian identity, as well as Canada's role within the Global Community.
The course consists of two main strands:
A. Heritage and Identity: Communities in Canada, Past and Present, and
B. People and Environments: Canada's Interactions with the Global Community
