Dotted along Ontario’s TransCanada Trail are 25 educational trail markers honouring the culture and history of Indigenous peoples in Ontario. You can visit the markers in person or online through our interactive map below. From the website of the Government of Ontario.

Initiated, designed, and led by Carolyn King and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Moccasin Identifier is a teaching tool and public awareness-building program for Treaty relationships between Indigenous and Non- Indigenous Canadians.
