'Tradition Now' Honouring Relationships (TRC+7) Virtual Gathering May 2-6, 2022

Welcome to the official site for the UCDSB TRC+7 Virtual Gathering. 

Our theme this year is 'Honouring Relationships: Tradition Now'

The gathering will be active from Monday, May 2nd to our closing ceremony on Thursday, May 5th which will feature a live panel presentation with our Cultural Advisors.  To participate in the gathering, please plan time in your classroom on Monday, May 2nd through to Wednesday, May 4th to:

1. View the welcome addresses from the UCDSB Board Chair, Director of Education and our honoured dignitaries.
2. Watch Bill Montgomery's welcome and land acknowledgement 
3. Visit each cultural advisor presentation page.  Each presentation page includes a video, a link for student's to submit questions to the cultural advisor, and resources for additional exploration.

Throughout the week, please visit the Student Showcase Gallery highlighting some of the many classroom projects submitted by our TRC+7 schools.  And, please return to this page on Thursday, May 5th for the closing Live Panel session!

We look forward to our grade 5/6 classes joining our live panel discussion on Thursday, May 5th with our Cultural Advisors.  Our Cultural Advisors will respond to selected questions that have been posed over the week by students.  The event will begin at 12:50 in order to give classes time to get into the session.
