 Examples of informal oral communication include:

  • Face-to-face conversations
  • Telephone conversations
  • Discussions that take place at business meetings

Examples of  formal types of oral communication include:

  • Debates
  • Presentations in class and  meetings
  • Classroom lectures
  • Commencement speech given at a graduation ceremony
